Healthcare quality is a major factor within healthcare and the most focus, therefore antitrust laws are adopted by many healthcare service and everyone want to improve.  As there are three types of antitrust laws; which the core U.S. antitrust law created three pieces of legislation:  the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, the Federal Trade Commission Act, and the Clayton Antitrust Act.  The U.S. government protects consumers from predatory business practices by developing the Antitrust law also known as competition laws.  Sherman Antitrust law prohibits conspiracies that unreasonably restrain trade.  Under this act there are agreements among competitors to fix prices or wages, allocate customers, workers or markets are criminal violations.  Clayton Act aims to promote fair competition and prevent unfair business practices that could harm consumers.  Antitrust laws seek to stop price and bid rigging, monopolization, and anti-competitive mergers and acquisitions.  They ensure fair competition exists.
