Introduction (2 marks; 2 marks; word limits: 200)
Make a connection to what has immediately gone before. Recap the last chapter. Example ‘In the last chapter it was shown that… Having argued in the previous chapter that…’ It is also possible to make a link between this chapter and the whole argument… The first step in answering the research question (repeat question) .. was to present below the related literature.
Related Literature (7 Marks; 2 marks; word limits: 1000)
Include here the theories used to support this research. Include the findings of other researchers. (Only include literature related to study carried in a time span of 10 years, with the exception of referring to the framework/theories provided by the pioneers in the field)
Research Gap (3.5 marks word limits: 200)
Identify the gap from the existing literature and focus on how the proposed study contribute to the field. Contribution could be in terms of innovative idea or it could be an extension of existing knowledge or as well it could be in terms of methodological and contextual contribution.
