An adapted quote from John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men states “the best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”  Data collection is a plan and can definitely go awry and therefore provide the researcher with many challenges.  As you design your plans for data collection you should think about these challenges and develop strategies to overcome them.  Discuss the challenges you believe you may face during data collection and the strategies you plan to utilize to overcome these challenges.
