Utilizing assignment one choose one of the program outcomes and develop a quality assurance/capstone project that you believe would be beneficial to your area of employment, or the profession of nursing in general.

In assignment 2 you will address the following points.

While clear and concise outcomes are important it is also important to develop effective strategies to meet the outcomes you identify. In this assignment you will identify the necessary resources, including a potential budget, a realistic timeline in which someone can implement the project, the timeline for the project, and the strategies you will use to achieve your outcomes

·       Discusses in detail the resources you need to implement your plan and the potential budget requirements

·       Proposes a detailed timeline for implementing the plan, including who will be involved in the proposal and the implementation phases

·       Identifies specific strategies and how you will use these to accomplish each outcome.

·       Discusses how you will evaluate the success of your outcomes.

Being a nurse means more than working in the nursing field. Being a nurse means being an active member of the profession and taking an active role in advocating for the specific area of nursing you currently work in as well as for the profession in general. For the final project of this course you will complete a poster presentation of your capstone project using voice thread. Complete this presentation as if you are presenting to nurses in your workplace, community and/or a national conference.
