A network is a collection of computers and devices connected together via communications devices and transmission media. Networks usually are classified as a Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Personal Area Network (PAN) or Body Area Network (BAN).
