Who Invented Apple?

A lot of you would be scrolling down this article on your MacBook or iPhone. Both of these are the most sold products of apple. Daily, we use apple products like air pods and apple watch. It has been making our lives easy for a long time now. But who should we thank for all of it?

The Legends Who Invented Apple

Before it became one of the biggest companies in the world, apple.inc was a small start-up in California. It was founded by two college dropouts- Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Both of them worked in a garage and wanted to develop the world’s first user-friendly personal computer. They joined forces and attended the Homebrew computer club together. So, Woz produced the first computer with a typewriter-like keyboard and the ability to connect to a regular TV as a screen.

Jobs saw Woz’s computer, recognized its brilliance, and sold his VW microbus to help fund its production. Wozniak sold his HP calculator and together they founded Apple Computer Inc on 1 April 1976.

In the 1990s apple was a different company than we know it today. It had a lot of products and fully stocked but didn’t have enough customers. The survival for apple was tough.

After Steve Jobs’s death in 2011, Tim Cook took over the company as the CEO. Since then the company has expanded and released a new generation of iPhones, iPods, iMacs, and MacBook. In 2017, Apple sold 223 million iPhones, making the device the top-selling tech product of the year. In 2018, the tech giant became the first U.S. company to be worth $ 1 trillion.
