The propeller on a swamp boat produces a jet of air having a diameter of 0.91 m asillustrated in the Figure Q2. The ambient air density is p= 1.179 kg/m'and the axialvelocity of the flow is 25.91 m/s relative to the boat. Calculate propulsive forces thatare produced by the propeller when the boat is at stationary. Consider the left side ofcontrol volume is far enough from the propeller such that the relative velocity is zero.
