1.) A standard transformer had a rating of 60kVA. The primary and secondary voltages are rated respectively 600V and 120V.

(a) What is the rated current for each winding?

(b) If the primary winding is connected to 600V AC, what kVA load can be connected to the secondary winding?

2.) If the same transformer in question 1 is connected as an autotransformer, there will be four different possible autotransformer configurations. Assume that the input voltage is 600V AC. Be sure to show ALL work.

(a) What would be the four available output voltages using different connections?

(b) Of the three valid configurations (in which winding voltage ratings are not exceeded), calculate the kVA load that the transformer can supply.
