Question

1) Multiplexers are digital switches that select one of several inputs to be output. In the lecture, a stereo receiver was used as an example of multiplexing. What are some other everyday, practical examples of multiplexing? You can reference either specific examples or devices, such as the stereo receiver, that perform this function.

2)Research and determine how the data from a computer keyboard is translated into the binary code required for input to a computer. Remember to cite your sources. Can we use decoders for this function?

I just need a couple of sentences on each question, enough to answer it.
