For Example you know that the Price of household products may increase for some known factor that has caused the prices of Inputs to rise. As a result, you can take proper steps of saving enough for future to counter this effect. In the example of your friend and his purchase of milk, he was not anticipating the inflation of the price of milk. I feel that when people are prepared and warned of probably upcoming inflation, they can better deal and prepare for it. When you are expecting to pay 2.69 and suddenly you are paying 5.00, it is more difficult to deal with it and you have to make some quick decisions on how to deal with the situation.Rachel ReplyShow LessTammy Keanreply to Asadullah Sediqi 2/28/2016 2:12:38 PMRE: Unit 8 Discussion Topic 2Hi AsadThe annual percentage increase, same product/service less amount of goods 'services, and overall general level increase is considered inflation. Fixed Income people do not have a positive outcome when inflation takes place. Milk and other products most definitely have increased in prices; but their income has not risen. Due to this they lose some of their purchasing power, and have to spend their money wisely that sometimes mean sacrificing. The increase of $2.69 to $5.00 for a gallon of milk is ridiculous especially in a short period of time. Your example was very good and unfortunately reality for many people.Reference:Hubbard; Patrick, R. Glenn; Anthony.
