1. Briefly discuss five characteristics of epithelial tissue.
2. Identify on the tissue to the right using the numbers: 1. nucleus
2. apical surface
3. connective tissue
4. basement membrane 3. Illustrate (that means draw) the following epithelial tissue types, attaching each to connective tissue.
Use additional paper, as needed.
Label the apical surface and basement membrane of each tissue you draw.

4. Describe the general properties of connective tissue.
