I need help solving the following questions, only a few brief senates are required and references are needed if any are used.

1) Filters with active component like opamp is known as active filters and filters with passive components like resistors, capacitors are known as passive filters. Active filters offer quite a few advantage over passive filters. One if the important feature of passive filter is that it can easily be adjust over a wide frequency range. So active filters are adjustable.
Most of you gave a very good introduction of active and passive filters. Let's find out some applications of these kinds of filters .

2) Discuss the Sallen-Key low pass filter. What is pole of a filter? How do you calculate cut off frequency of this kind of filter?
