A dc servomotor is going to be used to drive a conveyor belt in a potato chip factory. The conveyor belt will contain bags of potato chips that will be dumped into cardboard boxes for shipping. The lead process controls engineer has instructed you to use a PID controller to control the conveyor system to a given position per unit of time, preferably in minutes. The feedback is transducer represented as a potentiometer measuring linear movement. For every 1/2 meter per second the conveyor belt moves along, the transducer reads 0.75VDC. The maximum reading the transducer is 20 m/s. Construct a PID controller to control the conveyor system so that from a full stop, the system will achieve a target movement of 150 meters per minute within 105 seconds before accounting for integral and derivative functions. Assume the two capacitor values are 1uF and the resistors 10kOhm for the integrator and differentiator portions of the controller. Give the representation of the actualized PID controller, i.e. give the circuit.
