How is one of the beliefs of the Puritans, as discussed in the lecture notes, present in one or more of this week’s texts? Grace, Plainness, Divine Mission, etc… Focus on some specific belief of theirs as pointed out in the lecture notes. You may also discuss another belief that you see for yourself present in their literature that I did not touch upon. Please do not just talk about how the work shows that the author is very religious or that he or she really believes in God. That would be stating the obvious. Because we are examining a highly religious group, that will not add anything to a discussion about them. (Note: The Puritan belief in "Grace" does not mean "graceful").
