The functions of
Human Resource Management have changed considerably over the last 20 years.
What do you see as the top priorities of the HRM department today? Please
be specific and include some academic information from the textbook (if you
haven't received your textbook yet you can use the internet) Also, what
have your experiences been with your company's HRM department? Have they
been responsive and effective and are they a visible and helpful presence in
your company? Please cite your source(s).

(Please make sure you don't duplicate one of the laws you are doing for your PowerPoint presentation) to discuss - first summarize it (history and major components) and second explain why you personally feel it is important. I don't want to see general comments. This is a very important week in understanding the employment laws. Please communicate throughout the week with your classmates on their selections.
