English and the Internet
Fifty percent of all internet sites use the English language. However, only twenty-five percent of internet users have English as their first language.
Our Australian company wants to create international internet sites for China, India and Russia. Should we use English? Or the local language? Bi- lingual internet sites are far too expensive and cannot be afforded.
