The Omnivore’s Dilemma is divided into three parts: Part I: Industrial/Corn (pp. 15-119); Part II: Pastoral/Grass (pp. 123-273); and Part III: Personal/The Forest (pp. 277-411). The last three or four chapters of the assigned part should be read by week 3. Specifically, students who choose Part I: Industrial/Corn should read chapters 4 through 7 by week 3; those who choose Part II: Pastoral/Grass should read chapters11 through 14 by week 3; and those who choose Part III: Personal/The Forest should read chapters 18 through 20 by week 3.
