Here is the list of seven continents of the world and their distinctive features.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Asia, the Largest Continent<\/strong><\/h3>\n

And China and India are both one of the largest economies of the world from 1800BC till now. In fact, 2020 biggest economy was China, with a GDP of $24trillion.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>There are a total of 48 countries and home to almost every religion. In fact, Asia is the origin of many religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Islam, and many more. Hinduism is the biggest religion, with more than 1.3 billion devotees. Also, the 2nd biggest religion is Islam.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Asia is known for its diversity and ethnicity, with changes in language, clothing, choice of food after every 100 miles.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Besides, countries like (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey) are also part of Europe. Because some part of their land lies there, so these are Transcontinental countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Africa, Second Largest<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The home to the world’s largest hot desert (Sahara) and longest river (Nile) in the world is the second biggest continent. Covering 30.3 million square km with a population of 1.3 billion people. Also, to remember, Africa has the youngest population globally, with a median age of 19.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The Nile River flows from south Africa into Lake Victoria after passing through (Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya). Covering 4100 miles, it ends in (Mediterranean Sea) north Africa. The Nile holds a significant value in the saga of Africa. After all, it was the origin of food, water, and also means of transportation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>North Africa is a set of a movie called ‘Lion king’ because it’s dry, full of hot desert <\/span>Sahara<\/span><\/a>. Spanning over 9,200,000 square kilometers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Central Africa has all the greenery you would expect from Africa; thus, you will find all the animals from Lions, Bears, Cheetahs, Giraffes, and Deer.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Africa’s central and southern parts are full of dense forests that encompass prominent rivers like the Zambezi, the Congo, and the Niger.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Continent Africa faced colonization by Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Portugal. Although, African countries faced oppression from ancient times by the neighboring countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>But Europe, in quest of new imperialism, ruled over them for a century.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Somehow, countries like Zimbabwe, Djibouti, Seychelles got independence at the end of the 1970s.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>A total of 54 countries come under Africa; Nigeria has the highest GDP globally with 448 billion dollars per year. The second country in South Africa, with 350 billion dollars per annum. However, there are over 20 nations that are under severe poverty.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Per annum income of these countries is $5200; life is too hard for them. Living in slums and eating unclean food while drinking intoxicated water. Zimbabwe, Guinea, Benin, Rwanda are some of the examples of these underdeveloped countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. North America<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The third in the line of continents are North America, with a 24 Million square kilometer region. Also, the population count stands at 579 million. North America is full of natural wonders like landforms, lakes and every type of vegetation is available there.<\/span><\/p>\n

North America was also under the colonization of Europeans; therefore: France, Britain, and Spain highly influence the culture. Moreover, they even speak European languages.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The United States got independence from the Britishers on 4 July 1776. That’s why it got developed firstly then the rest of other colonies of British.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>It brags about Lake superior, an enormous freshwater lake of the world. Also, giant sequoias 250ft tall in California state it is the grandest of trees.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. South America<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The lower half of America, particularly known as South America. You can visit the North American continent by the <\/span>Isthmus of Panama<\/span><\/a>. However, the pacific ocean has covered the west, whereas, north and east by the Atlantic ocean.<\/span><\/p>\n

The area of 17 million square kilometers is in the hands of twelve countries. Also, they are 423 million in number. Additionally, the GDP of South America is at 6.5 trillion dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n

This continent is also extremely wealthy in terms of its wildlife, rainforest, and rivers. To enumerate, the Amazon river itself has more than 15000 species of plants and animals. Almost every country consumes the medicine and food generated from the forest.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Antarctica<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the last regions on earth discovered was Antarctica. Russians discovered Antarctica in 1840. Its southernmost continent, with a land area of 14,200,000 square kilometers. The temperature of this continent isn’t suitable for living, and it can go upto\u221294.7 \u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n

More than 80% of the world’s fresh water is in the form of icebergs. The place of polar bears, penguins, seals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The continent is a little bigger than Canada, but the total land area is only 6.8%. With 740 million populous, this continent comes as highly developed. Filled with art, architecture, and history, Europe attracts millions of tourists.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eventually, each country has something different and unique to offer. Also, nearly every European country has access to the ocean. In the north, you will find the Arctic ocean and the Atlantic ocean in the west.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Australia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Here is the smallest continent on earth, covering 8.6 million square kilometers. And the number of people is very less, only 39 million. The native place of Kangaroos. Somehow, Australia is as flat as Antarctica and receives very few rainfalls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Indeed, it’s one of the driest places on earth. The weather of Australia is distinctive; it has many types of weather. Therefore, the temperature can go upto 53 \u00b0C and come down to \u221223.0 \u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because of its grandeur, one end of it experiences another weather, and the other end is completely different.<\/span><\/p>\n
